Founded and led by CEO Scott Rexwinkle, our company brings a rigorous standard of safety and technical expertise to every project. Scott has extensive industry experience, having worked as an aviation accident forensic analyst since 2008. As a seasoned expert witness, he has assisted in a variety of complex cases, rendered expert opinions, and has an established history of testifying in both deposition and trial. He holds a master's degree in Aeronautical Science with dual specializations in Aeronautics and Aviation/Aerospace Safety from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Furthermore, Scott is an FAA certificated sUAS Remote Pilot, a Private Pilot, and a licensed Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic with FAA Inspection Authorization. Drawing from over a decade of hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance , accident reconstruction , and complex systems troubleshooting, Sierra Aero Recon is uniquely positioned to deliver objective, accurate, and expert aviation consulting.
